CONCLUSION
Realising the importance of English, our Sarawak government has taken a big step forward to ensure young learners will be able to master english language in early ages.  Preschool teachers play an essential roles.  They will be exposed with this programme and will be trained through sets of courses.  Therefore, the state government had spent quite a huge amount of budgets into this programme. Our government has set this programme to be implemented as a compulsary to every preschools in Sarawak. The main goal is to effectively deliver the function of phonics in the acquisition of the children’s reading skills.  Hence, the language barrier is hopefully be broken when the children get the same teaching materials and techniques.
